Executive Committee

A seven-member Executive Committee (EC) including the Chairperson, General Secretary and Treasurer is the highest policy making body of Development Link Foundation. The Executive Committee meets once a year to transact such business as approval of annual budget, presentation of annual report, review of the performance of the previous year and provide policy direction. Two-third of the members of the executive committee forms the quorum in a meeting of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee (EC) of DevLink is responsible to implement the organization’s purpose, objectives and the projects and programmes. EC’s responsibilities also extend to keep proper books of accounts (in relation to DevLink’s income, expenditure, purchase, assets, annual budget, appointments etc).

The Devlink EC is also empowered to engage any consultant to perform any assigned work. Any member of Executive Committee, Advisory Committee and any other suitable person from anywhere in Bangladesh can be engaged as a consultant. Organization can pay honorarium/remuneration, TA/DA to the consultant as per project rules. An Advisory Committee of the Foundation also exists to share knowledge and take comments on organizational activities. There is provision to form a 5-7 members Advisory Committee (AD) of DevLink (to be proposed by the General Meeting and approved by the Executive Committee). The member of advisory committee members may be included from citizens of the country and abroad.
